Alexandra Ferguson is a gutsy garmento who cut her teeth on the New York fashion runway making clothes for some of the city's top designers. The company launched in 2009 with nothing but some free time, a used sewing machine, and a wicked pair of scissors.
Her best ideas usually happen early in the morning on the East River Drive of Manhattan, testing the bass limit of her car speakers. Other inspiration comes from the simplicity of mid-century modern, the innocence of American Folk art, and the mystery of a Roy Lichtenstein painting. Each graphic pillow is handmade, felted, and filled with fibers made of post-consumer recycled bottles.
