Lentz Resurgent Grains

Lentz Resurgent Grains grew from centuries of family farming throughout the world. Though they were primarily wheat farmers, they decided to cash in the cash crops in 2000 and make a change: to grow farro.

Farro is a million-year-old “cereal” grain that predates wheat. The Lentz’s also grow Barley and were the first in Washington State to grow Emmer, Einkorn and Black Nile Barley. The Letz Spelt Farm is located on the Columbia Plateau of Eastern Washington State.
