NUBE SEATTLE SPRING 2011 COLLECTION

February 24, 2011
NUBE Seattle is NuBe Green's new private-label line of women's sculptural garments, crafted entirely from local materials by local artisans. Materials consist of re-purposed garments and cast offs, as well as locally grown fibers from sustainable farms. Using these sources, seamstresses, knitters, spinners, paper makers, and felters design unique, one of a kind pieces that directly reflect the local character of the Pacific Northwest. The goal of this line, available exclusively at NuBe Green, is to continually re-discover local materials, to celebrate local craft, and to refine 'sustainable' design.

Then again, my 94-year-old grandma is a psychic.” Whether you agree or not, it’s hard to deny the serendipitous line of fate -- call it what you will -- tugging you through her story. And this from a girl born on August 17th, the “Day of Explosive Power,” a day with a horoscope profile that reads “as accurate as hell” (for a similar reaction of your own peruse the pages of “The Secret Language of Birthdays”)...
