April 30th: GoGreen Seattle, A Conference with a NuBe Philosophy

The annual GoGreen sustainability conference will be held tomorrow in downtown Seattle.

The GoGreen website describes the event as "a one-day, interactive learning experience featuring tactical how-tos, a solutions-centered deep dive into new ways of thinking, and a showcase of regional business leaders and their success stories." We thought that sounded like an event NuBe fans would be interested in (full transparency: NuBe Green is a Community Partner for the conference).

I attended this conference in its first and second years in Seattle (it's now in its fifth). I remember it being a great showcase of businesses, organizations, and individuals who were working in several different areas of sustainability, from biofuels to green building to water conservation. Looking at this year's program, it looks like there will be a similar breadth of expertise and knowledge-sharing in the room.

If you need more incentive, looks like they'll have one of the new Tesla sedans on display! Could be fun to mess with its giant touchscreen console.

You can still register for the event here. NuBe's team member Liza will be there all day live-tweeting, which you can follow on Twitter at @NubeGreen. Or you can just go say hi to her in person!
